About The Role
The Property team are responsible for this Sydney based University owned and leased assets. The team plan, design, deliver and maintain the infrastructure to meet our client’s needs for all University infrastructure. The Property team consists of three main areas:
- The Strategy and Planning
- Project Management
- Client and Facility Services
Reporting to the Head of Client Services, the Client Services Manager will:
- Be responsible for the efficient day-to-day oversight of the assigned precincts including buildings and external areas, will be aware of and drive engagement around all works occurring in their precinct at all times.
- Work in partnership and collaboration with other units in Property Services to enable exemplary delivery of services to clients.
- Direct and manage the Client Services Officer in accordance with their roles and responsibilities.
- Responsible for undertaking post occupancy reviews on projects.
- Build, influence and interpret both the external and internal needs and objectives of the Precinct stakeholders, to create positive trusted relationships through the appropriate management of client’s expectations.
- Facilitate regular meetings and provide timely reporting to all stakeholders and the Property team, on activities, challenges, and actions within their precincts, including developing and delivering on service level agreements in conjunction with their stakeholders.
- To manage and negotiate competing priorities that may arise between stakeholder groups and Property.
- Maintain detailed knowledge about all operational works, projects and services that Property is providing to their specific clients and proactively seek to ensure that infrastructure meets the client's needs for research and teaching, within the constraints of the available funding.
- A degree or extensive experience in a client facing service industry, with experience in the management of day-to-day precinct/building operations within a large and complex environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, skilled in managing competing priorities and agendas of your stakeholders through influence and negotiation.
- Experienced in working in a high-performing and service orientated cross functional team environment and possess strong analytical and conceptional skills.
- Experience working in the Higher Education Sector highly desired.
