With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hour's drive from the CBD, Melbourne's North is fast becoming the place to be!The Role:An opportunity exists for a Clinical and Laboratory Immunologist to join the team at Northern Health.This role will lead the setup and supervision of the immunopathology service in Northern Pathology Victoria, working together with other disciplines e.g. haematology and chemistry as relevant. It will also provide both inpatient and outpatient clinical immunology service.To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current AHPRA Medical Registration
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or equivalent specialising in Immunopathology and clinical allergy & immunology
- Demonstrated experience in immunopathology and clinical allergy & immunology
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills that enable the development of professional relationships across a broad range of people
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrate skills in prioritising and balancing sometimes competing and conflicting priorities
- Highly developed conceptual, analytical, research and problem solving skills;
- Highly organised, with a proven ability to plan and prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines and budget;
