The Role
As a Clinical Coder at Port Augusta Hospital & Regional Health Services Inc., you will lead the charge in delivering precise and timely casemix services. Reporting directly to the Manager of Patient Services, you'll ensure compliance with the Department of Human Services' rigorous Casemix Reporting Standards, National and State Coding Standards, and ICD-10-AM Classification Conventions. Your role will be instrumental in driving accurate healthcare data management that impacts patient care and organizational efficiency.
Must have satisfactory completion of Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA) Introduction Coding course.
