Stirling Hospital is a not-for-profit private hospital located in the leafy Stirling town. We have been providing many different specialty services to the local community for over 90 years and pride ourselves in excellence in service and delivery from every department.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Coder to join our wonderful team. The role is 5-10 hours per week and the working times and days are flexible.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Experience in the assignment of ICD-10-1M diagnosis and procedure codes in accordance with the Australian coding Standards;
- Ensuring accurate DRG allocation to all episodes of care; and correction of ISAAC data errors
- Experience with online patient administration systems would be highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, etc
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, attention to detail and a strong ability to multi-task
Essential requirements include:
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment in a Clinical Coder position
- A satisfactory Working with Children check and National Police Check prior to employment
