We have an exciting opportunity in the Clinical Content Team for a Clinical Content Pharmacist.
Reporting to the Clinical Content Team Lead Pharmacist you will be part of the team responsible for supporting all services relating to the provision of content to supported clinical applications and interoperability. This includes the Hospital Pharmacy Product List (HPPL) and PharmNet Catalogue (PNC) services and any new content service that becomes available. The position is responsible for ensuring the quality of the content that is created and distributed as part of the content services.
What you will do
As an integral member of the Clinical Content Team, you will:
  • Manage the processing and reviewing of Clinical Content requests while resolving operational issues to ensure services are delivered in a responsive, accountable, and customer focused way.
  • Support the Clinical Content Team Manager ensure services are compliant with agreed terminology standards and referencing the most current sources as they become available.
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of Clinical Content including terminology editorial guidelines and other governance documents.
  • Participate in the development and running of test scripts during content tool upgrades.

About you
The skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for in you are:
  • Registered as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA).
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, prepare written reports, deal with challenges creatively, and achieve business focused solutions.
  • Proven ability to use initiative, identify, and solve complex problems.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry with pharmaceutical data management in a large and complex/diverse service industry organisation.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). A NSW Health agency may require further information about the medical contraindication (including but not limited to an Immunisation Medical Exemption form-IM011 form). Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
To be eligible for this role, you must have current Australian work rights (Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen with a current passport, or hold a valid visa with permission to work in Australia).
