The Role
As our Clinical Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading our therapeutic delivery team and upholding our organisational clinical governance. Working closely with the General Manager, you will oversee the implementation of best practice clinical standards, ensuring effective care delivery in line with our client-centred model.
The successful candidate will be required to hold the following qualifications and/or certifications:
- AHPRA registration as a registered/ clinical psychologist or similar
- 5 years client experience in mental health and/or AOD treatment, and 5 years supervision or management experience
- Training in other holistic modules highly regarded (psychotherapy, mindfulness based practices, trauma and somatic modules).
The Day-to-Day
The Clinical Director will hold responsibility for the following tasks and these will make up the majority of the work for the successful candidate:
- Responsible for the Clinical Governance of the organisation, and meeting standards prescribed by Sana Health Group.
- Ensure appropriate procedures to assess clients at the points of admissions, and throughout the program, to ensure appropriate support is available.
- Liaise with clients, their treating teams and authorised contacts, as required, throughout the client’s engagement with the program and on discharge.
- Delivery of therapy as required, including individual and group therapy.
- Provide leadership to the team on clinical matters including case management and supervision for the therapeutic team.
- Actively involved in program development and implementation including overseeing the quality of clinical care, ensuring policies and procedures for program delivery are appropriate and being implemented day to day.
- Identify, minimise, and manage clinical risks within the organisational risk framework
- Monitor and review appropriate clinical outcomes to establish clinical efficacy and program outcomes
