Job description

Mercy Community Services supports and inspires people in need to live healthy lives within inclusive communities. Our 203-bed Residential Facility offers a range of services and believes a big part of what we do is to help our Residents flourish, knowing what is important to them and their individual needs. We presently have an opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join us on a Full-Time Fixed Term basis.

As our new Clinical Lead, you will be providing clinical support to the nursing team, ensuring our Residents are receiving optimal care with a focus on person centred care.

$80,000 per annum plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available (negotiable based on experience)

What you’ll be doing

  • Carrying out comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments, formulating a plan of care for groups and individuals
  • Liaising with the broader Care Team to identify our Residents needs and review outcomes of care
  • Coordinating & monitoring the planning implementation & evaluation of service outcomes
  • Providing leadership and support to team members, assisting with orientation of new members, identifying learning needs and providing learning and development

About you:

  • Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
  • Expertise in Clinical Leadership of at least one specialist Aged Care clinical area and leading a team
  • Experience in the development, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of quality systems
  • Detailed working knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards, Charter of Aged Care Rights & AN-ACC processes
  • Excellent time management, planning & coordination skills & high standard interpersonal skills.
