About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to lead, coordinate and support the Allied Health clinical team responsible for the delivery of high quality, evidence-based Allied Health services across Rehabilitation Inpatient wards within STARS. The role will monitor, evaluate and manage activity performance including the relevant performance KPI's and associated data elements.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Lead staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality delivery of healthcare and service evaluation
  • Provide expert guidance to service planning and lead implementation of evidence-based reviews and service evaluation activities to support continuous quality improvement and maintenance of clinical practice standards within Allied Health, across the multidisciplinary team.
  • Accurately and concisely record all patient interaction as well as workload measurement statistics, to facilitate the analysis of service trends and actively influence practice change.
  • Consult, develop and lead implementation of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care within rehabilitation.
  • Engage with consumers, families, advocates, decision-makers in formulating novel and creative solutions to complex situations to enable NDIS participants to live independently, aligned to guardianship and human rights legislation.
