Job description:
We are seeking a Clinical Lead-Social Worker to provide Clinical Leadership and oversee best practice standards for Social Work Services in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers Practice Standards and Code of Ethics.
The LGH Social Work Team: The LGH Social Work team is comprised of clinicians from a broad variety of backgrounds and experience who work within a trauma-informed framework to promotes inclusivity, social change and empowerment, and respect for diversity.
We encourage staff to undertake ongoing professional development and quality initiatives.
Staff are supported to develop skills that enable them to work happily in a busy and demanding work environment.
The role:
Provide Clinical Leadership and oversee best practice standards for Social Work Services in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers Practice Standards and Code of Ethics.
Provide specialist Social Work assessment, care planning, advice and intervention for clients.
Assist the Discipline Lead - Social Work with the coordination and management of overall Social Work Services, including recruitment, supervision and support of staff and students as required.
Contribute to the overall corporate governance of Social Work Services within the context of the Department of Allied Health.
