About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for women and babies with a variety of conditions and support a safe care environment through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence based woman and baby focused care, education, leadership and portfolio management. In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse, Midwife and other non-registered personnel in more complex situations.

Whilst not mandatory, possession of a relevant post graduate qualification (i.e. Graduate Certificate, or Graduate Diploma, Masters Degree) or evidence of enrolment in such a program would be desirable.
