Access theBunya and Pandanus (Nambour General Hospital)The NGH Adult Inpatient Units (Bunya and Pandanus) are 16 bed wards providing welcoming care that is person centred, recovery oriented and evidence based. We focus on family and carer inclusion to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. Both units have an additional 4 Mental Health Intensive Care beds attached to support patients that require an increased level of care during their admission, meaning each unit has a total of 20 beds. Bunya and Pandanus are one component of an integrated service that provides contemporary care across all settings. Both units provide assessment and treatment to adults over the age of 18 – 65, who need a short to medium term inpatient assessment and treatment for people experiencing acute episodes of illness who are unable to be safely supported in the community.The Clinical Nurse Coach (CC), working within the Clinical Coach Framework, actively engages in the development of a learning culture within the clinical unit and models evidence-based practice at an advanced level relevant to the area of specialty.The Clinical Nurse Coach (CC) has a dual reporting line to Nurse Unit Manager and Nurse Educator and reports twice annually against education indicators.Your key responsibilities
- Contribute to the educational outcomes of the health care team by communicating appropriately with colleagues and assuming a leadership and coordination role in clinical education within the clinical unit.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing/midwifery care at an advanced level.

- Adhere to the clinical coach framework and work collaboratively with coaches across the health service.
