An exciting opportunity exists for the Clinical Nurse Consultant - Apheresis Service to to establish and oversee our new Apheresis Service within a Haematology setting in our outpatient Cancer Care Services.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive Apheresis program.
Key Responsibilities include:
- In collaboration with Haematology Medical Director will be responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating apheresis delivery within the planned timeframe for commencement by the November 2024
- Identify and collaborate with all key stakeholders and Multidisciplinary team through process of implementation of service and beyond.
- Ensure mechanisms are in place to support initial and ongoing education to SCHHS nursing staff to safely launch Apheresis service.
- Apply and share expert clinical knowledge to improve patient/client care outcomes.
Remuneration value up to $159,429 p.a., comprising salary between $128,701 - $139,732 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NRG7).
