Consultant/Specialist Anaesthetist

The Role:

• Total Indicative Remuneration: $396,428 - $734,658 p.a
• You will join a collegiate team of 34 anaesthetic specialists.
• Metropolitan location
• Up to $15,000 for interstate relocation
• You are only half an hour away from world-class wine regions such as the Barossa Valley and pristine sandy beaches.
• Desirable qualifications in pain medicine, research, or other relevant area
• At least 5 years’ experience in clinical anaesthesia including all sub-specialties.

The Department of Anaesthesia, Pain and Perioperative Medicine is committed to the achievement of best practice in the design and delivery of services to its patients. This involves the pursuit of quality improvement and innovation in every aspect of its operation.
In this role you will teach the discipline of anaesthesia to medical undergraduate and postgraduate trainees and supervise their clinical practice in this discipline.
Participation in the various Continuing Medical Education and Quality Assurance activities of the Department of Anaesthesia is a primary objective of this role.

Skills & Qualifications required:
To be successful it is essential that you hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist Registration.
