Key Responsibilities include:

• Assume responsibility and accountability for own actions and the delegation and supervision of nursing care to Registered Midwives (RMs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs).
• Lead and achieve optimal cancer outcomes and delivery of high quality and efficient cancer services by:
• Applying expert clinical nursing knowledge, skills and experience with a designated tumour stream/s throughout the entire patient pathway from disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship and / or transition to palliative care.
• Ensuring ongoing assessment of the patient pathway within their designated tumour stream/s to ensure their role is responsive to new developments in cancer treatments, supportive care and evolving service needs.

Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $159 429 p.a., comprising salary rates: $64.90 - $70.47 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (2 x temporary part time position available for 24 months, and 6 months, 64 hrs p.f.).
