Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
Your Opportunity:
The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the specialty of Plastics, Reconstructive, Oral, and Maxillofacial Surgery. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Educator and wider health care team support the clinical unit in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of Plastics, Reconstructive, Oral, and Maxillofacial Surgery. This role will have a particular focus on improving and maintaining the effectiveness and coordination of care within the service with a particular focus on high-complex needs patients and families.
