SalaryDigital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with clinical leads and end users across Metro North Health to deliver the Digital Metro North Strategy 2018-32. The strategy aims to ultimately deliver an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North by 2032. Over the next five years, significant capital works are being undertaken, including hospital construction and refurbishment and the implementation of the ieMR Advanced solution across all Metro North facilities. Achieving the aims of the strategy requires a dedicated team with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains and the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver quality results.
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Apply sound knowledge and skills in leadership, communication, change and project management specific to nursing/midwifery informatics and digital transformation.
- Develop effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the implementation of digital applications and supporting Care Delivery Stream workflows.
- Utilise nursing/midwifery informatics standards and knowledge to inform decision making and assessments of digital readiness, specific to the inpatient and outpatient setting.
- Provide oversight and work collaboratively with the relevant clinical and business stakeholders to develop integrated digital workflows to facilitate the safe and effective implementation and adoption of digital applications that improve business operations and complement accurate collation of data for reporting and improvement purposes.
About the role
- This role is full time with the standard hours of operation being 8:00am – 4:06pm, Monday to Friday.
- Flexible working arrangements such as variable working hours and working from home may be supported.
- There are opportunities for coaching, development and career progression within the broader ieMR Project team.
- Travel across Metro North facilities may be required.
