About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide advanced clinical expertise and care relevant to the Syphilis Surveillance. The position collaborates with interdisciplinary team members on major Public Health projects, strategies, and disease response.
The role is part of the Queensland Syphilis Surveillance Service and provides Public Health nursing services in accordance with national, Queensland health and Public Health unit guidelines including:
- Enhances surveillance, investigation and management of notifiable conditions, non-notifiable infection and communicable disease outbreaks specifically related to Syphilis infection
