About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Theatre Nurse, with a commitment to clinical education and professional development, to provide mandatory and relevant clinical education to new graduates and theatre staff. You will be joining a progressive, busy unit with a supportive management team and great staff.
This is hands on role requiring an exceptional candidate that can not only deliver formal training but also lead, coach, and inspire others through practical on the job training working alongside our team of clinical employees.
About You
This role is well suited to a passionate mentor driven to see their team members succeed and grow. You will be responsible for providing education to New Graduate Nurses, nurses transitioning into the PACU environment and the ongoing professional development of staff within the department.
You will also bring;
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Anaesthetic / PACU nursing.
- Must have Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards
- Post-graduate qualifications in relevant area are highly desired
Remuneration
From per hours $55.79 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
