We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to join our medical ward team on a part time basis. In this ongoing role, you will play a pivotal role in providing clinical education and support to our nursing staff. Whilst this will be a CNE role there will be an element of the role that will include clinical support on the floor to staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver comprehensive clinical education and training to nursing staff on the medical ward.
- Facilitate skill development and competency enhancement among nursing personnel through hands-on training and mentorship.
- Collaborate with unit managers and healthcare providers to identify learning needs and develop tailored educational programs.
- Provide ongoing clinical support on the floor, assisting with patient care activities and ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives and implement improvements as needed to enhance staff performance and patient outcomes.
- Act as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, offering guidance and support in clinical decision-making and complex patient cases.
Our team requires someone who has:
- Registered Nurse with current registrations with AHPRA
- Previous experience within a Clinical Nurse education role
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skill
- High level interpersonal skills
