About the OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Manager (Emergency Department & Perioperative) for the Katanning Regional Hospital.
This is a rewarding and interesting role where you will:
- Be responsible for the management and coordination of the Accident and Emergency Departments, and Theatre.
- Perform competently as a Clinical Practitioner in Accident & Emergency, undertaking a clinical caseload as required.
- Implement quality improvement programs in conjunction with other personnel, participating and coordinating a team-based approach to accredited standards of care and clinical pathways in the treatment of patients.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent clinical nursing knowledge and skills particularly in Accident & Emergency
- Working knowledge of the Operating Theatres and Central Sterilisation and Supply Department
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality and accreditation processes
- Excellent communication skills, and the demonstrated ability to lead a team
