About the role
Joining our inclusive and diverse team at our vibrant Residential Aged Care facility in Joondalup nestled alongside the beautiful Lake Joondalup nature reserve, this role provides pivotal leadership to clinical and care staff. Leading the team in all care-related activities, including the development of care plans, and ensuring robust clinical documentation practice, this role will drive collaboration and quality. Through enabling and empowering our team you’ll ensure quality care that supports independence, wellbeing and quality of life that consistently demonstrates MercyCare values and adherence with Aged Care accreditation standards.
About you
Your exemplary knowledge and ability to influence will enable you to foster a positive and collaborative team culture that places respect, integrity, and service at its core to deliver operational excellence. You will have natural problem-solving ability, enabling you to lead a team through challenges pragmatically, with a continuous improvement mindset at the forefront. Ensuring your success your skill set will include:
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical leadership role within Aged Care
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Dedication to person centred practise with a steadfast commitment to support others
- Proven organisational, delegation and time management skills
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Quality Standards
- Understanding of the Aged Care Funding Instrument
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
- Flu and COVID vaccinations (preferable)
