Clinical Pharmacist Grade 3 - Surgery Team Leader

We are a dynamic and supportive pharmacy team working together to deliver safe, high quality patient care and medicines management. We enjoy a collaborative working environment and you will work as part of the management and leadership team to develop high quality and innovative clinical pharmacy services and quality improvement initiatives. We are looking for a Senior Pharmacist to co-lead a team of dedicated pharmacists within our Surgery Team, and support delivery of high quality and patient focused clinical pharmacy services to our surgical patients.
Your new role:
- Assess, plan and implement clinical pharmacy services to deliver high quality patient care in collaboration with key staff within pharmacy and across RMH.
- Manage and coordinate your team to achieve positive patient outcomes, supervising clinical practice and patient care activities.
- Provide mentoring for pharmacists, technicians, interns and students.
- Promote the quality use of medicines by leading quality and safety projects.
- Contribute to on call, after hours and weekend services.
About you:
- You hold current Registration as a pharmacist with APHRA.
- You have experience in delivering clinical pharmacy services.
- You demonstrate the ability to effectively lead a team.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
