  • Classification - RN/M3 - Registered Nurse/Midwife LV 3 - $121,537 to $126,970
  • Second Classification - AHP3 - Allied Health Professional L3 - $102,641 to $110,094
  • Third Classification - ASO7 - Administrative Services Officer L7 - $106,512 to $115,137
  • Employment Full time - Term Contract (temporary up to 30 Jun 2025)

We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA's largest maternity and obstetric service.Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.Join our team and contribute to providing South Australia's women, babies, children and young people with the best health care through both within our hospital or via our many and varied community services and programs.The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity exists within the New Women's and Children's Hospital (New WCH) Project team as a Clinical Project Manager or Project Manager on a long-term contract, working in a full-time capacity. This is a multi - classified role, encompassing Nursing / Midwifery Level 3 and Allied Health Professional Level 3 (Both Clinical Project Manager) and Administrative Stream Level 7 (Project Manager)The Clinical Project Manager uses clinical and corporate knowledge and experience for the purpose of delivering projects that provide evidence based best clinical practice services. As a member of the Clinical and Operations Team the Clinical Project Officer will contribute to the development and implementation of health service planning, facility planning and project delivery: * Leading consumer and clinical engagement for the nWCH Project
  • Ensuring service planning, models of care, and development of physical designs undertaken for nWCH which are consistent with the organisation's clinical service profile and functional relationships in the context of the organisational health service framework and SA Strategic Health Plan
  • Facilitating reviews and analysis of critical issues relevant to health service provision and corporate initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, executive briefings and presentations.
The Project Manager - new Women's and Children's Hospital is accountable to the Director Engagement and Commissioning for the day to day operational management of the planning, implementation, transition, commissioning and decommissioning to support the new Women's and Children's Hospital. The position will work as part of the project team and will have particular focus on:
  • providing the leadership, strategic advice and conduit for the service and health facility planning, implementing new models of care and the associated system wide processes to support the new Women's and Children's Hospital.
  • identifying, developing and implementing the agreed processes and plans to support the requirements for transition to and commissioning of the new Women's and Children's Hospital.
  • ensuring the development and implementation of the policies and procedures required to support the implementation and communication of the agreed model of care and service delivery
  • assisting with the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support the integration of whole-of-hospital processes and systems to support the new Women's and Children's Hospital.
  • partnering with internal and external stakeholders to assist with the success of the new Women's and Children's Hospital and service reconfiguration in the context of the engagement strategy and change management
