Clinical Psychologist | Buderim Private Hospital

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team at Cooinda Mental Health Service. Our Service consists of four units including, Cooinda Psychiatry Clinic, Cooinda Psychology Clinic, Cooinda Inpatient Unit, and Cooinda Day Program Unit. The employment model we offer is based on a 50/50 split, which means you will be required to work 50% of your time in the hospital with inpatients and day patients (min two days), and 50% of your time in the Cooinda Psychology Clinic running your own private practice (min two days).
Key duties in the hospital (Inpatient Unit and Day Program Unit)
- Psychometric assessments
- Provision of individual psychological treatment
- Facilitating group therapy
- Regular communication with Psychiatrists, Nurses, and other Allied Health Professionals
- Attending Multidisciplinary Team Meetings
Key duties in Cooinda Psychology Clinic
- Psychometric assessments
- Individual psychological treatment
- Regular written communication with referrers including Psychiatrists and GP’s

What we are looking for
We would like to recruit Clinical Psychologists that meets the following criteria:
Registration and qualifications
- Full unconditional registration with AHPRA
- Formal qualifications in Clinical Psychology (Masters or Doctorate Degree)
- Formal training in evidence-based psychological therapies including CBT, TF-CBT, DBT
Work experience:
- Conducting psychometric assessments
- Providing individual evidence-based psychological therapy
- Facilitating group therapy
- Experience in treating moderate to severe psychiatric disorders
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and record keeping skills
