Our client is a community organisation who supports and assists refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds, people with disabilities, and youth and children to build capability and enable them to overcome inequality.
We are looking for either a Senior Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join the Logan Brisbane team to be a part of the new Case Assessment Clinical Team, working within a range of complexities including mental health, alcohol and drugs, offending, and complex trauma.

- Conduct risk assessments, including assessment of suicide risk and violence risk
- Develop evidence-based safety plans and provide follow-up support, referrals, and treatment
- Provision of alcohol and drug assessment, neuropsychological assessments, and mental health reports
- Provide support and referral options to partners and families, including children
- Assist in the development and provision of education and training programs
- Participate in the ongoing evaluation of clinical outcomes
- 2 years Senior Psychologist level within a clinical position or Forensic position
- Police Clearance
- WWCC
- APHRA Psychological Registration (Clinical or Forensic)
- Proficiency in addressing diverse clinical concerns presented by adult individuals
- Correctional Services desirable
- Demonstrated experience working with Mental Health
- A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police check.
