We are a dedicated psychology and psychiatry practice (emmeco.com.au) specialising in comprehensive care for adult individuals with ADHD. Our team is committed to providing evidence-based interventions and fostering a supportive environment for both clients and clinicians with an emphasis on patient safety and effective medication management of ADHD and co-morbidities prior to referral for therapy support.
We have experienced significant growth and demand to develop in-house ADHD-CBT as part of multimodal care. Current clinicians are contractors working via telehealth with full administrative support provided via a competitive, set monthly service fee. We are looking for passionate professionals to join our telehealth team which includes Clinical Psychologists and neuropsychologists providing ADHD/ASD assessments and a psychiatrist providing supervision of complex care cases and medication management. We have a rigorous intake process designed to ensure patient safety and maximise therapeutic outcomes.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist with a focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for ADHD including other recognised therapy options to assist our patients with multi-modal care. This role involves conducting assessments (optional), as well as developing individualised CBT and group programs tailored to ADHD. The position offers the flexibility of remote work and either yourself or your patients can be located anywhere in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough ADHD assessments (optional).
- Deliver individual CBT sessions for clients with ADHD who have been reviewed by emmeco psychiatry.
- Develop and implement CBT-focused group programs for ADHD.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in ADHD treatment.
Requirements:
- Full AHPRA registration as a psychologist (Provisional psychologists need not apply).
- Medicare registration.
- Proficiency in computer use and email communication.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a remote caseload effectively.
