The Brolga Unit is located at Hornsby HospitalWhat you'll be doingTo provide day-today clinical leadership, support, and supervision to the allied health team in the CYMHS Inpatient Unit.To take a senior clinical role in the management of complex cases and maintain a clinical caseload which will involve direct clinical work with adolescents and their families/carers and other relevant parties.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

• Current full registration with AHPRA and Masters or Doctorate level post-graduate qualification in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or Child and Adolescent Mental Health. The postgraduate qualifications must be of no less than two years full time duration (or part-time equivalent) and include professional clinical coursework, clinical training and supervised placement experience as core components.
• Demonstrated experience in the assessment and management of adolescents with high level acuity of Mental Health issues. Knowledge and expertise in contemporary practices in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership capacity and clinical supervision skills.
• Experience, knowledge and skills in care planning, family engagement referral and follow up.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, consultation and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and refine strategic relationships.
• Experience in project work or service development activities, that involve planning, developing, implementing, reviewing and evaluation of new initiatives within a health service context.
