Our growing team requires an experienced Clinical Psychologist Supervisor to provide high quality psychology services and support the Psychology team.
Responsibilities
- You will support the psychology team and provide expert clinical supervision to provisional and registered psychologists within Scribble Children’s Therapy.
- Foster a learning environment within the team that supports the professional development of each supervisee in a personalised manner, aligning with the company’s values and policies.
- Demonstrate effective leadership skills to inspire and motivate other team members
- Ensure high quality, evidence-based psychology services are provided to children and families.
- Provide professional oversight of all clinical work areas within the psychology discipline.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of best practice psychological services targeted to the specific needs of individual work areas.
- Facilitation of team meetings including the facilitation of reflective practice and the development and delivery of training and education sessions.
- Cultivating a positive team culture that promotes collaboration and mutual support
- Establishing a culture of continuous learning by providing resources and sharing knowledge with the rest of the team
- Supporting the day-to-day running of psychology programs and the therapy team, in conjunction with the management and leadership team.
- Working with the management team regarding recruitment and onboarding of the psychology team.
Skills and Experience
- Full registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA
- APHRA Board-Approved Supervisor credential
- Eligibility for Medicare registration
- Post Graduate Experience supervising provisionally registered psychologists
- At least 5 years of experience in Child/Adolescent Psychology.
- While prior experience working in a neurodiversity affirming approach is not a prerequisite, candidates with a background in this field may find it beneficial in adapting swiftly to our practice.
- Strong work ethic and effective time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines and lead a team of psychologists.
- High standard of written, verbal and interpersonal communication
- Experience working with children and adolescents
