What you'll be doing
The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) position requires a dedicated Clinical Research professional to perform the activities associated with the evaluation, initiation, conduct, monitoring and close-out of clinical trials to ensure the trial is conducted in accordance with the approved study protocol, standard operating procedures and relevant regulatory guidelines.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the registering of new patients on local, national and international clinical trials.
The CRA will work as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to research excellence in a progressive paediatric clinical setting.
The CRA will provide assistance to and be supported by other CRAs within the department. Whilst relevant training opportunities and international conference travel will be available and encouraged, the position does not require regular travel.
- Demonstrated experience in Clinical Research/trials
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in medical/science-related field and/or previous experience in Clinical Research/trials
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines, TGA guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Exceptional organisational skills and accuracy in data management
- Demonstrated ability to follow policies and procedures meticulously
- Above average competence in the use of computer applications and databases
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
