Contribute to our established Radiation Oncology clinical trial program based out of the Icon Cancer Centre Richmond clinic, with occasional travel between clinics as needed to support the conduct and oversight of cross-clinic research activity.
Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant allied health discipline, nursing or health science, as well as hands-on experience in Clinical Research or radiation therapy. Full training in Clinical Research coordination will be provided for candidates without experience.
About the role:
Part-Time Permanent opportunity to join our collaborative research team. This is an amazing chance to work in a high-volume Radiation Oncology clinical trial unit, within our radiation therapy clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high level support to Icon Principal Investigators in the day to day management of Clinical Research.
- Assist with the management of the local Clinical Research portfolio.
- Contribute to financial management by ensuring that research events are accurately tracked and payment data is submitted in a timely fashion.
- Communicate effectively with research participants to ensure that research related procedures are booked appropriately and participant compliance is maintained.
- Actively attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that Clinical Research carried out within Icon, is conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice, the NHMRC National Statement and Icon policies.
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual who can independently solve problems. You will also have the ability to independently manage a dynamic workflow and build rapport with various stakeholders through effective communication.
