We are seeking a talented administrator to oversee our aged care funding claiming and assisting the head of care with monthly audits and reviews. The position is 24 hours per week. The successful candidate will have existing knowledge of the AN-ACC claiming system or be able to quickly absorb the rules of this system and have demonstrated knowledge in quality audits and reviews.
Qualifications & experience
- Minimum three years’ experience in Aged Care, preferably in residential and / or community setting in a relevant supervisory or management level position.
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC instrument, assessment, care planning, and validation procedures.
- A strong commitment to excellence and continuous quality improvement with a sound working knowledge of quality principles and accreditation.
- Must be a Registered Nurse that is registered with AHPRA.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Review, develop and monitor new policies and practices for funding that meet legislative requirements, follow regulations.
- Supervise the presence of AN-ACC assessor’s on-onsite, including supervising their access to authorised resident information and assisting with any other information requests.
- Ensure the admission process is adhered to and followed up
- Coordinate the review of each consumers care needs and preference in line with the care plan review matrix and within the agreed timeframe.
- Provide staff training where required
- Coordinate and assist with the timely completion of the homes required quality audits in line with our QPS Benchmarking requirements.
