The Clinical Services Manager ensures the smooth and efficient day to day operations of Family Planning Tasmania Clinical Services. Its main responsibility is to establish a professional centre of excellence to set standards for our operations, ensuring community outcomes are met. The role can be based from our Glenorchy, Launceston or Burnie clinic.
The Clinical Services Manager will provide Family Planning Tasmania with expert management services across the organisation and with a focus on the clinical operations of the organisation to ensure the delivery of Family Planning Tasmania’s strategic, operational and business plans. This work will be aligned to the Clinical Governance Framework.
The Clinical Services Manager, applying a risk management methodology, will work both independently, setting targets and deliverables which support Family Planning Tasmania’s planned outcomes in consult with the CEO, and as part of the Family Planning Tasmania’s broader management team. The Clinical Services Manager will utilise their extensive practice management experience to assist the Family Planning Tasmania management team to make informed and effective decisions whilst implementing against strategic objectives.
About you
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Practice Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
You must have:
- Practice Management Qualification
- Proven experience delivering services and building capacity for professionals within health, education or community sector
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical governance
- Valid Police check
- Valid Working with Children’s Check
- A can do attitude
