The National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC) at UNSW Sydney is a premier research institution, recognised internationally as a Research Centre of Excellence. The mission of NDARC is to conduct and disseminate high quality research to increase the effectiveness of treatment and intervention responses to alcohol and other drug-related harm. Why this role matters:
You will be instrumental in the day-to-day running of a world first Clinical Trial of a new medication for methamphetamine (‘ice’) use. You will be responsible for quality assurance procedures related to trial data and trial procedures, including conducting site monitoring visits, coding medical data, checking data for accuracy and completeness, and assisting with administrative duties related to the trial (e.g., recruitment activities, ethics approvals, procurement of trial materials). You will be an employee of UNSW, based at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC), in Randwick, and will work with a multi-disciplinary international team. Local and interstate travel will be required.

Who you are:
- A degree in nursing, biomedical sciences, public health, psychology, social work or equivalent
- Confidence managing databases and ideally experience in REDCap or similar
- Strong organisational, time management and communication skills
- Ability to liaise effectively with people from different disciplines and backgrounds
- Commitment to integrity and sensitivity in interacting with marginalised populations
- Current driver’s licence.
