Clinical Trials Operation Lead (CTOL)
- Work with a dedicated Clinical Trials team in a tertiary hospital environment
- Help enable patients to access new and exciting care and treatment in development

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
Our team of Research co-ordinators assist the Gastroenterology & Hepatology department, and the Colorectal Medicine and Genetics department, with providing patients access to exciting new trials, both investigator lead, and industry sponsored.
Your new role:
- Provides leadership and support for the clinical trial co-ordinators for both investigator initiated and industry sponsored research studies
- Works collaboratively as part of the Clinical Trials team
- Liaise directly with the RMH Office for Research, pharmaceutical sponsors, trial monitors, data managers, and other members of the Gastroenterology team.
About you:
- Proven ability to be an effective leader, assisting trials co-ordinators with workload management and patient visits
- Excellent communication skills
- Clinical expertise to provide day to day service delivery whilst exploring new ways of working across the clinical teams
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Able to deliver high quality patient care
- An AHPRA registered nurse with at least 5 years’ experience
- Clinical trials experience
