About the role
An exciting opportunity for a Clinician to join the Early Psychosis Continuing Care Team initially based at our Osborne Park centre. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the clinician will provide comprehensive, specialist and early intervention mental health services to young people aged 12-25 years experiencing their first episode, or at ultra-high risk of psychosis.
The successful candidate will:
- Coordinate comprehensive, specialist and early intervention mental health care and provide specific psychological and psychosocial interventions tailored to meet the individual’s needs.
- Provide mental health assessments, including completion of mental state examination, risk assessment, case formulations and individual treatment planning.
- Consult with internal and external service systems to provide a full range of tailored interventions for young people with a first episode of psychosis.
- Carry a caseload of young people within the Continuing Care Team.
- Possess the relevant Tertiary qualification (Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Registered Psychologist) and be eligible for membership or registered with the appropriate professional body (AHPRA or AASW).
- Work as part of a passionate, highly experienced multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals.
