SalaryThe Clinical Director role involves providing strong leadership and support for the management, coordination, and planning of high-quality services. This includes jointly leading clinical governance with the Director of Nursing and other Clinical Directors, ensuring compliance with National Quality and Safety standards, and providing professional leadership to medical staff in the Department of Medicine. The role also involves developing academic medicine capabilities with James Cook University, creating new care models for improved quality and accessibility, and collaborating with stakeholders to engage local primary care providers and non-governmental organizations. The Clinical Director works closely with senior staff to ensure clinical governance and effective service provision.Location

- AHPRA Registration (Specialist Registration)
- In general, this will require fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent postgraduate specialist qualification and eligibility for accreditation as a RACP - approved supervisor
