Summary:
The Cloud Architect is responsible for leading engagement teams in various aspects of Cloud Architecture, solution design, and systems integration.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage mechanisms for engagement solutions and conduct sourcing activities for potential vendors.
- Provide input to pre-sales activities, continually develop professional knowledge, and offer expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
- Implement technical solutions, participate in Agile rituals, develop cloud platform architectures, ensure adherence to standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce solutions aligned with stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
- Contribute to platform automation and promote fundamental enterprise architecture principles for cloud platforms.
- Mentor and guide IT teams on Cloud Architecture and best practices.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to cloud-based services, infrastructure, and solutions.
- Understanding the agency’s existing on-premises infrastructure and documenting detailed architectures and designs for integrated cloud solutions.
- Providing subject matter expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services in consultation with architecture, network and security stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
- Deep understanding of cloud-based architectures, technologies, tools, and techniques.
- Demonstrated experience designing and documenting architectures for large, complex enterprise systems.
- Strong professional competencies and reputation in the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, specifically ATP, InTune, OneDrive, Phone System, Teams, and Windows Virtual Desktop.
- Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD, ADFS, and AD Connect.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendor partners.
