Cloud Devops Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity to join the support office in Port Melbourne as a Cloud DevOps Engineer. You will play a critical role in driving cloud adoption, awareness and secure integration of hybrid cloud and SaaS solutions

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions and alignment with processes and key deliverables
• Improve existing systems, enterprise level solutions, sustainability and process improvement
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives
• Design, develop and deploy modular cloud-based systems
• Ensure efficient function of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security
• Identify, analyze and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Maintain the infrastructure including devices, servers, cloud infrastructure, backups and redundancy
• Assist with Level 2 and 3 enquiries
• Participate in broader, system related business projects as instructed.

Key experience:

• Proven experience in the field of cloud computing
• Experience with Azure
• Previous IT Support experience in a retail environment will be advantageous
• Experience with Scripting / Programming would be advantageous
• Strong Microsoft and 365 Stack skills
• Experience with SysOps/DevOps and Microsoft Windows Server technologies.
