Our federal government client is seeking a talented and driven Cloud Engineer IRMU. You will design and implement Azure Solutions: Develop scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on the Azure platform.
About the role:
- Managing and Monitoring Cloud Infrastructures: Ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructures.
- Automating Cloud Deployments and Configuration Management: Use Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and ARM templates for automation.
- Ensuring Data Protection and Compliance: Use Azure security features to ensure data protection and compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
- Collaborating with Development Teams: Work with development teams to integrate cloud services into software applications.
- Conducting Disaster Recovery Planning: Implement backup strategies to maintain data integrity.
About you:
- Managing and monitoring Cloud infrastructure: Knowledge of networking, security, and application development, tailored to the Azure ecosystem.
- Scripting and Programming Skills: Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and programming languages like C# is valuable for automating tasks and developing Azure solutions.
- Security and Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of the best security practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments and data.
Location and Contract Term
This role is being offered to those in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC, Offsite. Initial contract for 12 months and high chance to be extended.
Security Requirements
Our Government Client require applicants must be Australian citizen and must have Baseline Security clearance and candidate will be required to maintain a clearance at this level.
Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.
