AddressLime Recruitment is currently working with a government department to recruit a Cloud Support Engineer contract for 6 months with possible extension based at Fortitude Valley and working from home.
Looking for an experienced Support Engineer to join professional cloud team. You will be involved in supporting cloud solutions within a complex, enterprise health care environment.
We are looking for a team player who is customer orientated and able to quickly understand and adhere to organisational policy, procedures and security requirements for supporting and maintaining could solutions. Ideal candidate would have previous experience in maintaining, managing, and providing support to customers resolve cloud related technical issues. Candidate would also have a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to take directions and to also work independently.
You will have:
- 2-3 years hands on experience delivering cloud infrastructure solutions and supporting Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Knowledge and experience supporting and managing cloud networking (VNET, VPC, Express Route, Direct connect, VPN & etc)
- Experience supporting Microsoft Entra ID and cloud Identity knowledge & experience (Entra ID, AWS IAM, federated authentication)
- Good knowledge of scripting and automation (Power Shell, python, C# etc.)
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring and related tools
- Experience and knowledge of ITIL processors.
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with multiple competing priorities
- Experience using Service Now to managed support requests would be advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in cloud security
- Ability to learn new technology and acquire skills rapidly
- Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with stakeholders, vendors and customers.
- Background in infrastructure management, windows OS, DNS, DHCP
Desired Skills
- Support experience in Microsoft Entra ID, Identity federation AWS IAM, IAM Identity Centre
- Hands-on experience in supporting following cloud technologies:
- Azure SQL, Azure SQL managed instances, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure App Services, Azure functions, Azure load balancer, Azure backup, Azure data factory, Azure blob storage, Azure log analytics, Azure app insights, Azure VMs, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Open AI, Azure Kubernetes. Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, dataverse.
- Amazon s3, RDS, EC2, Lambda, API gateway, ELB, AWS storage gateway, SQS, SNS, AWS Connect, AWS IAM Identity Centre, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, cloud formation.
