Cloud Training and Capability Lead

Compas are looking for a Cloud Training and Capability Lead for a long-term contract with a federal government agency. In this role you will develop and create AWS cloud-related content for user guides & training material supporting the departments cloud platform. The purpose of this content is to help department staff with differing levels of knowledge of AWS Cloud, uplift their understanding of how to work within the platform and the underlying AWS cloud services.

ACT, QLD, VIC, SA, TAS, WA

Duties & Responsibilities:

• skills and experience in training, documentation and/or mentoring
• high level written and verbal communication skills
• demonstrated experience in Amazon Web Services public cloud platforms, services, and supporting technologies including but not limited to:
  • Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, AWS Cloud Development Kit),
  • Orchestration and Automation (Lambda, Step Functions, Glue),
  • DevOps Tools (JIRA, Gitlab, AWS CodeCommit/Build/Deploy/Pipeline),
  • Data Lake Methodology (AWS Lake Formation)
  • API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Athena, SageMaker
  • Coding Languages (R and/or Python and/or SQL, JavaScript/Typescript).
