Form of workElecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.
Who you are:
Elecnor Australia has an exciting opportunity for 5 x experienced CN Licensed Telehandler Operators for our Overhead Transmission Lines team.
This will be on a fly in fly out basis on a 21/7 roster to our Balranald, NSW camp site which is 1.45hrs from Mildura, VIC airport. Alternatively, it could suit a local to the Balranald area.
What you will bring to the team:
- Current Construction Whitecard - essential
- CN HRWL or above - essential - only candidates with this license will be shortlisted5x
- Other HRWL highly advantageous
- 3+ years experience in similar role
- Proof of right to work in Australia
- Undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
- Physically fit with the ability to do physical labour tasks
- Hand and power tools experience
