Interstate Group Pty Ltd is a premier manufacturer of luxury campervans and motorhomes, known for our dedication to quality and innovation. We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who specialises in flatbed CNC machines to accompany our cabinet-making division.
Role Overview:
As a CNC Machinist at Interstate Group, you will be critical in producing cabinetry and assembly parts for our high-quality vehicles. Your primary responsibilities will include programming, operating, and maintaining our CNC machines and edging boards on our edge bander to ensure efficient and precise production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming flatbed CNC machines for the manufacture of various components.
- Loading and unloading materials onto the machine.
- Sorting and preparing parts for edging.
- Edging boards on our Biesse edgebander.
- Performing physical tasks, including lifting and material handling.
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail to ensure quality.
- Basic data inputting and use of PCs for operational purposes.
- Adhering to a strict schedule to maintain maximum production flow.
- Working hours: 6 am - 4 pm, Monday to Thursday.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Biesse CNC machines is highly favourable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift materials as required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in using computers for basic tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills and ability to adhere to schedules.
