Qualifications & experience
- 4+ years’ experience using production machinery
- Extensive knowledge of machine maintenance and operation required
- Must possess strong basic maths skills
- Proven history of working with gauges and callipers.
- Technical understanding of joinery production and manufacturing methodologies, including cabinetry materials, specifications, and hardware
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
Tasks & responsibilities
CNC Machinist/Operator
Our business has two divisions – cut-to-size and cabinet-making. We’re looking for a highly skilled and organised tradesman who can operate our state-of-the-art CNC and edge banding machines for both divisions. You’ll need to have 4+ years of experience running CNC and edge banding machines with a trade certificate or equivalent. If you think you could do the job well but aren’t sure if you’ve got the right qualifications, we still want to meet with you. Please note: we’re open to negotiating a 4-day work week.
Required skills include:
- Pay attention to detail
- Keep all parts of one job together
- Keep a tidy and organised workspace
- Troubleshoot issues with machines
- Work collaboratively with managers and co-workers

Hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime available!
