Cnc Machine Operator

All 2nd shift gets a 6.65% premium added onto their base pay.CNC Operator Job Overview:You would perform set up, operation, and programming of complex machined components for many different industries.You’ll be a great fit if:

• You are able to perform setups, edit and prove out programs
• You can operate CNC machine tools
• You can perform progressive machining operations to specs
• You are able to participate in and contribute to continuous improvement culture including lean initiatives
• You are able to maintain required quality and cleanliness standards
• You have a basic understanding of applicable machining techniques and understanding of control functions
• You are able to do repetitive machining work
• You can operate machine tools from written set up instructions and make offset adjustments to optimize part conformance to print (preferred skill)
• You have the ability to read blueprints at a basic level and correlate that back to the inspection protocol and documentation (preferred skill)
• You can run multiple machines simultaneously as a production cell
• You enjoy mentoring or training operators on certain repetitive jobs
• You can perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Highschool diploma/CNC technical diploma preferred
• 6 months to 2+ years of machining experience
• Proficiency in required measuring equipment for respective work performed
• Solid math skills
• A strong knowledge of blueprint reading including GD&T
• A clear understanding of feed and speed characteristics of specific types of metals and cutting tools
• A willingness to learn and grow
