We are looking for a skilled CNC machine Programmer with experience with Punch press, Press Brake and Laser cutting machine experience , ideally as a machine Operator
to join our Engineering, Projects & Design team manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming AMADA brand computerized machinery used in the Sheet metal production of various parts and assemblies. They will be required to read technical drawings and operate CNC machines to create the necessary components.
Responsibilities:
- Program computerized machinery to manufacture products in adherence to specifications.(past experience in operating AMADA brand Punch presses , Brake presses and Laser cutting equipment welcomed)
- Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure that parts meet all required specifications and dimensions.
- Manage /Implement the appropriate cutting and shaping tools as required for the job at hand.
- Monitor CNC machines during operation to ensure that they are producing accurate components.
- As requested conduct quality control checks of finished products.
- Work with both EDP and Sevaan Production teams regarding programming of machines & any machine malfunctions, errors, or breakdowns.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or degree in manufacturing or a related field preferred.
- Strong proficiency in reading technical drawings.
- Strong background in programming software (AMADA software experience a distinct advantage)
- In-depth knowledge of CNC machinery, Programming - setup, and operation experience a distinct advantage
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in CAD drafting using commercially available software packages inc Solidworks a distinct advantage
