The Opportunity

Reporting to the Production Manager the Machine Operator Operator in our Industry 4.0 Smart Sheet Metal Factory, will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of our automated and part-manual production systems. 

This is a permanent full-time role, based in our head office in Arndell Park. 

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operating, monitoring and controlling various machines and processes to ensure the production of high-quality sheet metal and other components
• Operating and monitoring laser and robotics machines (training provided)
• Perform routine maintenance and maintain a clean working environment 
• Manage the movement and storage of raw materials
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a similar role operating various machinery and equipment 
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects if required
• Ability to adapt to change and work across multiple machinery and equipment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Forklift licence is highly advantageous
