Role Overview:
Join our client's dynamic team as a Computerised Numerical Control (CNC) Operator, responsible for setting up and operating machines. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring precision components and finished products meet our exacting standards, contributing to our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and configure CNC machines for optimal performance.
Monitor and supervise machines to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Interpret technical drawings to produce precision components.
Load, unload, and handle raw materials for machining operations.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure peak performance.
Inspect and measure finished products, ensuring they meet required specifications.
Record equipment procedures and adhere to company safety guidelines.
Troubleshoot and address issues during the machining process.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient operations and product quality.
Flexibility to assist in various areas of production as required.
Ensure best-practice safety policies are adhered to at all times.
Actively look for ways to improve and provide feedback on efficiency, safety, and quality of the company's products.
Requirements:
Certification or qualification in machining or related trade courses or significant good experience to substitute for a formal qualification.
4+ years of experience in metal machining operations.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude with a logical approach to problem-solving.
Physical fitness to handle machine operations.
Organised with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
