The Role:
Excellent opportunity to work as a CNC Programmer / Operator, within a small team and our ever-evolving workplace, with varied work and build on your experience by delivering for clients from various industries.
Located in Henderson (no FIFO) you will be reporting to the machine shop supervisor. Your duties will include;
Inspect & ensure the CNC machine is in good working condition before setting up.
Conduct all programming as required.
Inspect first off article produced to ensure specifications are achieved.
Detect & correct programming errors prior to commencing batch run.
Measure and record machined sizes, in accordance with required tolerances.
Reverse engineer from a supplied item where no drawings have been provided.
Perform daily, weekly & monthly maintenance tasks to ensure the machine performs at its optimal capacity.
Ensure that tools and equipment are maintained in a clean, complete, and safe condition.
Test and calibrate equipment under relevant supervision and record equipment data.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality.
Complete Job sheet & back up programme for each job & file.
Accurately log job times at the end of shift daily.
To be successful for this position you will have;
Trade Certificate and qualification.
Relevant industry experience in a similar position.
Strong work ethic with proven work history.
Great computer and technical skills.
Communicate effectively verbally & written.
Adhere to workshop procedures and safe work practices.
Honest, reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Share knowledge, train others and be part of the team.
Current Drivers Licence (desirable not essential)
High Risk Licence – Forklift, Overhead Crane and Dogman (desirable not essential)
