Access theThis position attracts a Queensland Health Attraction Incentive of up to $20,000 / $70,000 - find out if you qualify here:About us:The Pharmacy Department at the Emerald Hospital manages all medications across the Central Highlands hospitals, including the preparation and supply of all inpatient medication on the wards, and prescription and dispensary services for patients visiting the hospitals. In addition to this position, the pharmacy team also consists of a Senior Pharmacist and Clinical Assistant.About the role:The Pharmacist functions as part of a team and is responsible for the provision of a broad range of contemporary clinical Pharmacy services to the facilities within the Emerald hospital campus and other facilities throughout CQHHS, and participation in a broad range of Quality Use of Medicines initiatives.About you:
- Mandatory qualification/s: The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Pharmacy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a pharmacist in Australia (or eligible for registration in Australia).
- Demonstrated level of knowledge and skill in hospital pharmacy practice or transferrable practice skills
- Ability to set realistic work goals, establish work priorities and work autonomously to deliver timely and efficient routine Pharmacy services.
- Proven ability to work effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary team with demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
- A hourly rate between $42.40 - $56.89 p.h.
